Himalayan salt is mined exclusively from the famous Khewra Salt Mine also known as the Mayo Salt Mine located in the Himalayan Mountains of Pakistan and drawing in over 250 000 tourists a year.

How to use in the kitchen:

Himalayan salt is pretty expensive and it's flavor is very bold. Therefore, himalayan salt should be used only as a finishing salt and in small doses.
